For crying out loud, you don't get a grade for the work that your mechanic did. Nobody thinks you fixed your own car. It's not the same thing. This, of course, brings to thought that wonderful quotation in Joseph Conrad's The Heart of Darkness, "The horror! The horror!" Let me say this about that: It's cheating. You can't just make up your own definition. It's cheating. And, if you use this service, you're a cheater.

Since this is "legal" and "ethical," maybe I should "delegate"...They could write a few stories for me; a novel, even. I'm enticed by the idea of a "spiritual reward."
Only politicians and actors can have ghostwriters - not real novelists. I may not buy your novel. And, I'm thinking purgatory is what these people are getting. The whole academic cheating thing is very disheartening. It is becoming more and more important to get a university degree but less and less important to get a good education.
Yes, I agree. It's disheartening. Criminal, actually...to pass off someone else's words as one's own. Knowledge is sacred to me. I love learning almost for its own sake.
